High Ping Within Lab

Hi all,

I have a basic lab setup with a windows 10 client machine, cisco switch and Fortinet Firewall.
Pinging between the machines is extremely slow as you can see from the screenshots.
Sometimes even getting a request timed out!.
When i add in a server 2019 communication between the devices essentially stops.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
I have a core i5 12600k with 64 GB of ram so i'm sure i have enough resources.

It is related to the dynamips 3725 router slow performance
Best fastest are IOL routers
Also I dont know if non licensed Forti maybe have restriction of throughput, like it is on Cisco ASAv

I installed IOL router and that resolved the issue.
