Help troubleshooting random/unrelated connectivity issues

I have always had an issue with EVE and this is becoming a deal breaker for me. I would appreciate any kind of assistance.

In rather large topologies, I will have some device(s) not pass traffic after turning them on.

Example:
ASA management interface connected to a cloud1.
Management PC connected to cloud1.

Cannot ping, nor do anything.

Closing out eve and restarting it 100% fixes it. But this causes me to stop ALL devices, close EVE, and start it again from VMware.

What causes this issue?

I suspect something gets stuck. And this usually happens when I turn on heavy labs.. Maybe a resource issue?
