Ive trying to search on forum and internet, but couldn't find any solution.
Don't work images csr1000v and XRv.
I am using OVA in VM ESXi, naming images are correct, permission okey, Intel VT-x already enabled.
All image started, console telnet is run, but nothing show up (blank).
Problem in version EVE Community 2.0.3-77.
Thanks

What CPU model is on your esxi? intel or AMD
and enable VT-X is must boe enabled EPT, it can be enabled using vCentre or if you have Esxi 6.5 then from web ui

Re: Problem with csr1000v and XRv
What I noticed is as soon as I start the node (CSR, XRv, XRv9K), I need to open the console and press a key (screen prompt something like "Press any key to continue"). If I don't press a key in time (seconds), the image will not boot (nothing in console and does not respond, even though qemu process is still running. Sounds like OP's sympton).
Images work fine once they boot up.
Is this expected? Running latest eve-ng in ESXi and all packages up to date

Hi,

Intel

yes, is marked checkbox -> Hardaware virtualization -> Expose hardware assisted virtualization to the guest OS

EVE Community 2.0.3-77 -> image from eve-ng.net -> section downloads
Problem with CSR,XRv -> image from IOU (iron->switch(L2/L3), router(L3)) works correcty.
When I run putty I don't see "Press any >>key to continue".

Intel ONLY with EPT feature
prompt to press some key signalize only that your images are not prepared right...
Please visit our how to section to prepare own images from original cisco source...
v77 is very well prepared now and no such issues, sir, what about you wrote here.

Re: Problem with csr1000v and XRv
For CSR1000vng, I used csr1000vng-universalk9.16.03.04 from CCO and made the image with http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... li-routers
I tried stop/start, this time I did not have to press any key for the node to boot up. Maybe it is only needed on first successful bootup... Thanks UD.

Re: Problem with csr1000v and XRv
I have the same issue with XRv where it appears running but nothing shows up on console. Also have Intel CPU with VT-x with EPT enabled for EVE.
Were you able to reach a solution?
Also I have a problem even installing the CSR1000v as it gets stuck before showing the "Press any key to continue".
Regards
