Hello Everyone,
I'm having problems to get to work a custom Ubuntu Linux Desktop 18.04.3 host. When I start it, the notifications window shows Linux: started, but the icon never turns blue, and of course, no console access is available.
I Installed the latest EVE community edition from an OVA into a Silicon Mechanics Server with 12 CPUs x 2.599 GHz and 32G memory capacity. I'm using VMware ESXi 6.0
root@eve-ng:~# uname -a
Linux eve-ng 4.20.17-eve-ng-ukms+ #2 SMP Wed Jun 5 08:18:06 CEST 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I followed thoroughly the instructions in the section "How to create own custom Linux host for EVE" and all went good. Also included Linux Client Side pack.
Then, when I start a node in a lab, I can see the new linux-ubuntu-18.04.3 Desktop option.
Finally, I connected the new host to a cloud for inetrnet access.
But as mentioned, when I try to start a node it just does nothing, no error or warnings were seen during the installation process or when I try to run the host.
I also installed a Cisco IOS Dynamips image but that one is working fine with no issues, so it looks like there is something wrong on the Linux Host side.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
