Can't connect to external routers

Post by Brant » Fri Dec 20, 2019 1:53 pm

Greetings,

Latest version of EVE Pro, bare metal install on Cisco UCS mini chassis. Ubuntu 16.04.6.

Can't connect to external lab routers. Using cloud1. If I configure IP address on eth1, I can ping from lab devices so connectivity to the server is good. When eth1/cloud1 is in bridge mode, can't ping between external network router & EVE lab router... unless the router (Juniper image) is running "monitor traffic interface <cloud i/f>". This puts the interface in promiscuous mode & pings work as long as I am monitoring the interface traffic.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Please read EVE cookbook section 10.
IT is possible to connect to EVE whatever you want.
Check design and setup bare and real HW setup
