I am new to the forum... I need some help

I am using eve-ng community version whenever i start the lab i am getting "watchdog: Bug:soft lockup-CPU#X stuck for" eve-ng console.

During this period i cannot access any device as well as eve-ng web page.

I have HP Z820 PC with 2 Processor and 64 GB RAM.

Yuu simply are running lab out of your CPU core resources.
EVE CPU % is low, it does not mean you can run nodes in lab.
Count cpu cores please and keep lab in your EVE CPU frame

All labs running by all users summarixing CPU and RAM on your server

You must raise CPU cores for eve VM...
Lab nodes are loaded more that your CPU can hold

I am trying to boot one win 10 PC and one L2 switch only. i am getting same error.

And how many CPU are assigned for your EVE VM?
watchdog error appears if you lack of CPU resource

I have two Xeon processor and assigning 16 VCPU to eve-ng vm and 42 GB RAM.

set your eve vm cpu settings to
16/1
cores per cpu is 1 !

Thanks for support. I couldn't reply back due to base OS issue as well external graphic card issue.

I had made the same setting as per your suggestion. I am getting the same error but the frequency is very less. So i can boot my lab properly.

I would like to know the external Graphic card may also give the trouble the CPU issue. I am experiencing the issue with Graphic card.

Hi, I gave similar issue, the server I have has 72 cores and I am using 60 cores for EVE-NG still the soft lockup error occurs

Ity depends what kind of nodes you are running and now many

I was trying Juniper SSR with 4 & 6 core CPU and 12 Gig RAM and 80Gig storage.
