EVE-NG PRO looses pnet0 after last upgrade

Hi !
Since last version 4 upgrade eve-ng-pro often looses its pnet0 interface, sometimes I can regain it with reboot, sometimes I need to redo the mgmt-IP setup.
It also sometimes looses the eth0 on booting qemu-nodes.
setup is on ESXi 6.5
Any ideas what is happening ?
Also after reboot , and i cannot close the labs without access via pnet0, the labs are giving constant errors and I can neither close them or do anything.
I am quite disssatisfied with that behaviour now.
Regards
Alexander

Something is not ok with your upgrade..
Probably you did it when labs were running.
Well,

try to do :
apt install reinstall eve-ng-pro

MAKE sure all is stopped when you do any of eve upgrades

I have a similar problem but on a new bare metal Dell R640. Just performed the upgrade to version 4 (paid for the PRO version), on reboot I lost all networking and had to get in via iDRAC. Need to figure out how to restore network access now. This software can be great, and a major headache at the same time.

The issue is the new 5.3.0 kernel does not have a module for my Broadcom BCM57414 NetXtreme-E 10G/25G NIC, therefore no eth0. Rebooted back to the old 4.20 kernel and eth0 is available again. kernel 4.20 has module bnxt_en.ko available in /lib/modules/, kernel 5.3.0 does not. I'll stay on the old kernel for now until this is resolved in the new kernel.

EVE is not using Kernel 5
EVE kernel is:
root@eve-ng:~# uname -r
4.20.17.2-eve-ng-uksm-wg+
root@eve-ng:~#
