using clouds on cluster

Hi,

I would like to ask a question regarding the use of clouds with EVE-NG on cluster mode.
on our lab, we need to have several external connections with physical routers, using clouds.
for the moment, we have only one server.
My question is: when we install pro version with satellites servers, we can only use the physical nic on the master to map the clouds? or we can add also nic ports of satellite server?
I didn't find this information in the cookbook.
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Carole Abboud

Clouds will use Master node only...
Satellite node will use UDP SEC tunnel to Master and connects to cloud.
Satellite itself no need to be online even

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.
I have another question regarding Ethernet card (NIC) we want to add to our future Master EVE-NG (wih processionnal licence). But we need to know if EVE-NG will work or is it compatible with this NIC.

We plan to buy a DELL R740xD serveur with the following ethernet NIC card :
Mellanox ConnectX-5 EX Dual Port 40/100GbE QSFP28 Adapter, PCIe Full Height
We plan to use 2 optics 100GBE on this card.

Can you help us to know if EVE-NG will recognize this card/optics and work well with ?
For the moment, we know that ubuntu will recognize this card, there is driver for it .

Thank you in advance,
Carole Abboud

As I know original DELL SFPs worked well.
Just particular case user was forced to buy GLC-T and use it in SFP port convert it ethernet
Drivers for specific card is possble to load in Ubuntu as well.

I prefer Intel cards, just imho
