I've so far tried 3 different versions of Juniper SRX with no success. I believe I am in the minority as I am using the same exact settings as those who had successfully deployed it.

Please help if possible.

Running EVE-NG Pro on VMWare Player in Windows 10.



1st SRX
vsrxng-17.3R1.10
Gets stuck on
db> mode
(Juniper diagnostics)


2nd SRX
vsrxng-19.1R1.6
Booting from Floppy...
Boot failed: could not read the boot disk

Booting from Hard Disk...
Boot failed: could not read the boot disk

No bootable device.

This guy successfully deploys and I follow his steps verbatim.

3rd SRX

Gets stuck on

Use vSRX 3.0
All of them versions 19, 20, 21 are tested and working
And please use our how to add images not third party, who know nothing what they do

Thank you, I got the vSRX3 to work. Could we please update the documentation to recommend the use of vSRX3.0 and not the standard version?

^ this file name is a non v3 and had all kinds of trouble with any non v3 versions myself.

There are no troubles with regular non v3 srx, just regular is very heavy and need more resources to run
