Recently I just test Cisco Catalyst8000v in SDWAN mode.
It seems working well but I can't console to it after attached to vManage template.
If I stop and start I can see some boot log but after that it become blank and never response to any key.
The cat8kv is still working I can access to CLI from vManage but not from console.

Test on version IOX-XE 17.5 , 17.6 , 17.7 and found that 17.5 is working well but 17.6 and 17.7 will found this problem after attached to template.

I use Esxi 6.5 with eve-ng community edition.
My friend use GCP and found same problem.

No idea how you prepare those images, but using official how to and makeing it from ISO, all works like charm

17.06.02 and 17.07.01a below on EVE Pro

version 17.6 and 17.7 works fine with autonomous mode

From your image, You are running in autonomous mode. Correct?

The problem happen after convert to SDWAN mode and attached to vManage template.

At the Autonomus mode when vers 17.07 is booting, you should not save enable password, yus get in cli w/o saving config
Then enable controller mode
For my node below is set x4 CPU and 8192M RAM

All works

Could you confirm that you attached cat8kv to vManage template and stop/start cat8kv?
Because I lost console after attached to vManage template and stop/start cat8kv.

1. Boot Cat8kv in first time(autonomous) => console working
2. Convert Cat8kv to SDWAN mode => console working
3. Attach Cat8kv to vManage template => console working
4. Stop/Start Cat8kv => see some boot log in attached file then console not working

Cat8kv still working I can change configuration from vManage but only console can't access

vManage vSmart vBond is 20.7.1
Cat8kv is 17.7.1
