No console output from routers or switches

I had been using GNS3 with the same qcow2 images, no issues. I decided to give Eve a try. Followed the instructions, made sure the directory was named correctly and renamed the image to virtioa.qcow2. They have appeared in EVE and starts but when I open the console, the cursor just stays there with no boot output. The console does not respond to keyboard input either. I tried another image too and same issue.

You did not tell what platform EVE is installed?
If it is non supported list, then such issue can be

Ah yes im using Proxmox so il just stick with GNS3 as it has no issues with nested and these images.

Proxmox is not in EVE supported list,
GNS3 is ok for home scale labbing, but not for enterprise level
