Is anyone running Eve-ng on google cloud?
need advices for a few matters.

I have spent 10+ hours trying to get Eve-ng to run properly on google cloud. I'm not new to Eve-ng, I'v been labbing with it for months previously my desktop PC.
Now that I'm travelling frequently for work, I need a cloud-based Eve-ng lab.

here's the problems I'v encountered.

1) inconsistent SSH using filezilla.
My work laptop is a M1 Macbook air, so I couldn't use WinSCP like I used to do with my PC.
I have created a set of public key and private key (using my mac terminal) and uploaded to public key to my instances (under Meta option)

the problem I'm facing is that i'm getting inconsistent connections into using sFTP.
For one instance (instance A), i could only connect once ever, and haven't been able to connect ever since then.

for the other instance (instance B), i could connect maybe 2 out of 5 times. If connection works, it's stable and I can upload huge image files smoothly. but if i were to stop the instance, it gets erratic. i may have to restart the instance a few times before i could get connections.

2) Nodes won't start on instance B and nodes don't work properly on instance A
it's frustrating because
- for instance B which i could SSH in and upload images (not all the time, but enough to get going) i could get images into the qemu folders but the nodes won't start
- for instance A which I could only SSH in once but not ever since after that, I could get a Cisco ViosL2 switch started, they load, but ended up blank afterwards.
For Palo Alto 8.0.0, ironically i could get i to start, but i haven't been able to add more images to run other emulations.

the settings I'v used for instance A and B are N1 and N2 machines, with 4 vCPU, 16gb ram, and 150gb SSD storage.

I have watched more than 5 different youtube tutorials on installing Eve-ng on google cloud, and read many online tutorials. it's frustrating after trying it for 10+ hours.

it was much easier on my desktop PC (using VMware etc)
can't try AWS since it doesn't support nested virtualisation like Google Cloud does.

If anyone is willing to help me via teamviewer or log in directly to my instances to troubleshoot, i'll be very grateful.

I am running fine on google cloud so far; the only issue I have is I started with the HDD smaller and wish I would have made it larger. The main thing for you, I would say, is adding vCPU. I would say a minimum of 8, but you should do more if you want to run Palo alto images. The other thing to check is the firewall settings. Ensure you have the correct ports open from whatever public IP you are connecting from.
