I added a cloud node to my lab and set it to bridging mode. This should pass through DHCP traffic through to the virtual node connected to the cloud node right?

It didn't work as I expected. I tried the Management and Cloud modes on the cloud node too but nothing worked. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try to set NAT interface as management/cloud0 for eve and test.
This will answer you if you have problem in your home LAN, or bridged interface to home LAN.
Note: that some wifi NIC adapters still does not work well with vm ware bridge
