Hello,
I've followed the instructions for importing the vMX images provided on the support page. It does work, but sometimes the interfaces on the VFP don't show up with a 'show interfaces terse' command on the VCP. I then wipe/restart the VCP/VFP nodes and wait 10 minutes and check again. This seems to happen when I select the 'Boot all nodes" option or if I try to boot multiple VCP/VFP pairs together. Going back and reading the instruction again I see: "Once VCP will be fully booted it will automatically start communicate with VFP. ".

My question is, should I boot the VCP's first wait a few minutes then boot the VFP"s to get a consistent boot of multiple devices for these images ???

If the image is created properly per our how to, then just advice start first vcp, but no need to wait
this can be managed with EVE feature delay start of nodes

If I understand the feature correctly it allows you to startup the nodes with a staggered approach,
ill try this method and see if I get better results with an offset of 30 seconds per pair of nodes.

Would I need to change the "Config Script Timeout' to account for the new offset, i.e. from 300 to 480 perhaps ???

You can set delay boot per node as well
