I have a problem with the input keys. I searched the web and the forum, unfortunately I haven't found a solution. I hope you can help me, and IAM sorry If there is a topic I haven't found.

So I use a German keyboard for my host system. My nodes are German to and the keyboard is it to. But when I use the cli in a node, it's a English keyboard. Following steps a I have done:

EVE-NG Host Installed console-data, selected and activated German keymap
Guacamole Config Set keyboard-layout=de in XML or via web interface
Target Node Set layout via setxkbmap de or loadkeys de

Nothing worked. I think the problem is the html5 console/guacamole.

for French language, by adding this line in qemu line of a node -k fr

Having keyboard layout issues in EVE-NG CLI, too! Did you try mapping keys manually in the node's console settings? I used loadkeys de once, and while it helped temporarily, it reverted on reboot. Maybe a permanent mapping configuration file is the trick.

you need to change the default qemu line and add your language -k en in example for English
