Is there any patches to the Spectre/Meltdown for the kernel?

I am seeing that the kernel in use after the dist-upgrade was built in September. Is there a time frame where this will be patched?

Yes, can You please provide information if any patches are released for meltdown/spectre vulnerabilities?
As my ubuntu currently have custom kernel: 4.9.40-eve-ng-ukms-2+.
