I understand that the EVE images must be placed in a specific location for them to be used. I would like to change this location to a different directory. Can you please advise on how to do this?

you can use the ln -s command to redirect the entire addons folder, or just specific qemu directories, personally I have a second disk attached to my EVE-NG VM stored on a flash drive for faster loading
