Cannot boot new QEMU Linux images after EVE-NG update.

Hi Experts,
I have an EVE-NG that was working fine until the update i performed 2 weeks ago.
I have a lot of pre-installed Linux images that are still working fine.
I cannot install and convert new preinstalled images. When i install a new CentOS vdmk for example with my VmWare WS Player and move it to the eve-ng i am using the procedure i always used before, but the IOS stuck at some time and cannot proceed further.
Convert commands i always used before and they worked just fine:
cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/
cd linux-NMS
/opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img convert -f vmdk -O qcow2 Centos-7.vmdk hda.qcow2
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
Is there any new software defect comming with the upgrade or there is a new policy of adding preinstalled vdmk images?
