A few times recently i've been able to stop all my devices, so i can't close the lab. I reboot the server to fix but thats not ideal.
Any pointers on how I can troubleshoot this?

I believe you need run update/upgrade.
And clear your browser cache, it can be reason that from gui you wont stop nodes.
