I have installed Eve-NG on VMPlayer (Windows 10 host). After the first boot, during the setup screen when I chose 'direct connection', strangely I never get to the screen where I can set the IP address (gateway, DNS, subnet mask, etc.). Consequently I cannot connect to Eve-NG in my browser. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I continue with the setup after selecting 'static' mode?

It is because in IP setup vizard screen you didnt select set static IP. need move down cursor to static and SELECTION confirm wuth spacebar

Your EVE will jump to initial setup wizard.
