Is it possible to add L2 Keppalive feature for IOL images.

if we connect iol images together and do shut on one interface , the other image can understand and put interface to administratively down

This feature is really buggy.
This is why it is not implemented .

I second that!
We need L2 Keepalive in EVE just like in IOU-web there is one, or an option. We should have an option. I ran 4 switches for 4-5 hours with L2 keepalive ON in ouo-web, NO Problems!

i dnot have problem with IRON 2017 image in iouweb with this feature

we tested this keepalive 10 times and it makes no help at all in any lab or IOL image use.
Therefore in the EVE such useless option will not be implemented.
