console access to linux server

Post by rclimpson » Tue Jan 29, 2019 9:56 pm

After install eve-ng on my server, i lost access to the console via my out of band network.
I'm not talking about devices within eve-ng, i mean the physical dell server.
If i reboot it i see the normal startup stuff, but once eve loads if just seems to totally stop working.

Any thoughts on what happened and how I can fix?

you didnt follow our how to...
It is very important to set your network interfaces during bare eve installation.

I did follow the guide and I don't have a problem with the network interfaces.
The problem is with the physical server console port. This is not a network interface

console is independant from EVE.
