What is the actual Software development issue with startup-configs

What is the actual challenge or hurdle with the ability to paste in configs to the startup-config window for a device, press save and have the device start with that configuration?

it works, just need to be sure you have set right interfaces matching lab nodes

I can not get it to work, I look in the startup config window, I see the device light up and see the config in the text window, then I turn on the device it goes to the do you want to go through the startup wizard. Am I missing something?

This video is based on editing the startup files after you have already exported. Lets say I have a text document that I pulled from a working physical router, I have changed the interfaces to match what I have in the UNL topology and I want to paste those into the startup config section of the lap. I dont want to access every router in the lab via telnet and copy and paste the configs in each separate node.
