Is it possible to import a lab by copy the lab file?

Before posting something, READ the changelog, WATCH the videos, howto and provide following:
Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Is it possible to import a lab by copy the lab file?

Hi all,
The lab files are located in /opt/unetlab/labs
although it seems its not possible to copy over the lab file to that directory, since EVE needs to assign LabID first.
Is there a way to copy the file over and make Eve recognize the lab without using the UIs Import function or REST API?

I guess that was an intermittent bug, since on a subsequent clean deployments I do not observe the same behavior
