hidden running invisible lab!!

Post by sirikonta » Fri Jan 28, 2022 8:22 am

Hi
on eve-pro on ESXi 7.0 after a vmotion the eve-pro environment hanged after login only showing a black screen.
All the hints to resolve ( incl. the one in the eve-ng FAQ) did not work. ( restarting mySQL,..)
From debugging the access I had the impression that the apache had a hang, so I restarted the Apache 2 service.
After that I could login into eve-ng environment BUT...
--my running lab is not accessible as running anymore.
When I access the lab all devices are shown as not started in grey, but the devices are monitored by NMS system and that system shows me that the complete lab is running without any problems.
Any resouce info in eve-ng does not sho the running lab regarding cPU, memory or disk usage.
Only I cannot access those devices via eve-ng console, as the devices are shown in grey and any packet capture is also not working

Is there any solution to regain access to that running lab ? the lab is constantly running as it is a vmware SD wan lab and edge and gateway information are not correctly stored, so a restart in the lab would need a reactivation of all edges and gateways.

Best regards

You can try stop all running labs by cli:

Code: Select all

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a stopall
But usually such ghost labs appears when you deleted user form EVE, but had left running lab

And stop include useless ad links in your posts...
