Question about interfaces staying up/up on EVE-NG

Post by agustusin » Mon Mar 28, 2022 6:28 am

I setup a EVE-NG lab hosted on Azure. Everything seems to be working fine other than the interfaces staying up/up even when nothing is connected to them. I've tried IOU and vIOS images, is this intended or am I doing something wrong? It's not a huge deal but it is kind of annoying. I've tried googling but can't find too much on the issue. Thanks in advance for any help.

First: Azure is not supported by EVE

Second: it is specific of virtual interfaces to be up/up state as they do not support L1 layer.
