Hi all,
I've tried today vSRX image, but looks like I have some issues with loading initial configs. Export seems to be working fine, as I see proper content in "startup files" dialog.
When I wipe all nodes and run them again I see following messages on the console:
Code: Select all
Verified junos-vsrx-12.1X46-D10.2-domestic signed by PackageProduction_12_1_0
Loading configuration ...
mgd: error: Cannot open configuration file: /config/juniper.conf
mgd: warning: activating factory configuration
and my config doesn't load.
Any idea why is this happening?
Thanks!

Did you watch video or something how to properly do it?
Did you enable/checked that it is setup to boot from exported config?
If all good, did you wait enough to see what happens when image boots?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm already using CSR1kv, XRv and vMX, so it isn't that new to me. I've followed instructions in "how to" section of EVE-NG main page and the image boots fine.
There aren't any extra steps comparing to other images.
Yes, the node is set up to boot using exported configs.
Yes, I closely watched console and posted outputs in my first post.
I think that node is looking for startup configs (juniper.conf) but isn't able to load them. So it falls back to factory defaults.

It's virtioa.qcow2, as per "how to".

Hi,
I have no provlems - neither with vSRX(Firefly 12.x) nor with the vSRX-NG (15.X, 17.X).
Config Export, wipe and "config-import" work fine.
Have you tried to re-setup your lab? maybe your node is broken.
Regards
Chris
