basic L3 routing not working in IOL IRON image

Post by hugolin » Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:32 pm

Hello gents
I came across a strange issue, L3 routing doesn't work with L2-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M-15.2-IRON-20151103.bin

I mean eigrp is working, I have full rib, can see the prefixes, but when the packet comes to the switch
it doesn't forward it where it is supposed to.
After TS, after captures and after ensuring that the packets are comming to the switch all I did was
change the image of the switch to
L2-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M-15.2-2015703.bin
and it is working now.

Pehaps I forgot to set up something somewhere...please point the direction how to fix this.
I would like to use the image for further labbing.

Thanks
Hugo

If you change image of the switch and it worked with the same config - image is not ok.
Work with the one where all works. In general 2015 images are old, google for a newer ones.
