nxosv-final.7.0.3.I7.1 - Unable to start

nxosv-final.7.0.3.I7.1 - Unable to start

Hi All,

i am very new to EVE and i was success is using IOL, however when it comes to Nx-os, i am not getting the idea what to be done. From past 48 hrs i have been trying to resolving but nothing worked.

I have obediently followed the instructions mentioned in EVE portal - http://eve-ng.com/index.php/documentati ... x9k-switch. But even after that i option to select the nx os graded out. The same is attached FYR

Please help me on this.

If you have copied the image in correct folder as mentioned in the document and fix the permission. you should able to use the node.

If not join in Live chat forum, we can do some diagnosis to fix issue.

Thanks, i am in the live helpdesk but dont know what to do next


Few more details - i5 processor 5200U CPU with 2.6Ghz and 16G ram (8 allocated to EVE)

sorry but i5 cpu will be short for NXOS.
Single NXOS node require x2 cpu cores and 8G RAM minimun...

How did you name the folder where you placed the image and what name you gave to the image?

That is the problem, you misread a bit.

The folder name should be:

nxosv9k-final.7.0.3.I7.1
