eve - The equipment starts and then goes off

Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

If your hostname is eve-ng and your license starts with unl01 then clearly the license is wrong ;)
